October saw the launch of a trial of a new way of distributing “The Bridge.” Thank you so much to our wonderful and growing team of volunteers, especially for your patience when the copies were unexpectedly delayed in transit and not ready for you to distribute! We hope that this month will have gone more smoothly ...
We have had a fantastic response to our call for volunteers but we are a bit thin on volunteers for the Dunkeld side of the river so please get in touch if you could help with delivering copies (you could deliver to your street, a part of it or to your block of flats). This is a once-a-month commitment (no deliveries in January or August). Copies are usually ready for collection from the Co-Working Space at 9am on the last Friday of the month and you can do your deliveries on the Friday or over the rest of that weekend.
If you live within Dunkeld & Birnam you should generally receive a copy of “Bridge” through your door at the end of each month (other than in August and January when there is no edition). If you have not been receiving a copy and live within the “city limits” as it were (ie you are not an isolated property beyond reasonable walking distance of Dunkeld and Birnam) please let us know – it may be that we have not spotted every front door – or have not been able to find your letterbox! Existing arrangements are still in operation for outlying areas such as Butterstone, Amulree etc.
