There will be a few changes at the Duchess Anne for the Christmas period.
The shelter will become the traditional lovely advent scene and the food will be in a gazebo nearby. The fridge freezer will go back inside for a few weeks and will only be accessible when the DA is open for another function.
However, there is exciting news about the Birnam table!
We have been given a fridge freezer from a generous local family and the Men’s Shed are going to build a shelter for us. St Mary’s Church have kindly agreed to connect it to their electricity supply. We hope this will be operating in time to take over from the Dunkeld Fridge over Christmas. In the new year we should have two tables and fridge freezers in operation.
Please do keep donating any surplus food and helping yourselves to what is there for sharing.
Happy Christmas to everyone and many thanks to our wonderful teams of helpers and to the shops and businesses who support us and prevent tons of food being wasted.
