Asheville NC connects with Royal School of Dunkeld
Doug Orr writes: Darcy Orr and I were delighted by our recent visit to the Royal School of Dunkeld and to see the wonderful paintings by pupils. Twelve of these were matted by Darcy who is a painting artist and are being displayed for sale at the November annual meeting of Asheville Sister Cities (ASC). They will also be shown at our January 25, 2024 Burns Night event in Asheville, with any proceeds going to the Royal School of Dunkeld. The paintings were first displayed at a recent meeting of the ASC Dunkeld and Birnam Committee and all of our members were most impressed by the creative talents of these young people with admiration for their teachers.”
The 2023 AGM of the Dunkeld and Birnam Friends of Asheville NC took place at the CoWorking Space on 26th October.
