Dunkeld and Birnam Brownies went on a exciting trip to pgl in Dalguise and stayed for two days of exciting adventure. We did four activities everyday and eight altogether. We did a vertical challenge, orienteering, raft building(we tested our rafts) and an assault course in one day on the other day we enjoyed doing abseiling, problem solving, fencing and survival. I liked raft building best and the instructor was nicknamed fat lady because he had a ponytail and his life jacket made him look fat.
The brownies named all of their instructors our main guide Louise was named loopy and she liked the name. We stayed in an accommodation on top of a hill in nice rooms with six bunk beds. One of the most enjoyable moments was sitting round the camp fire singing songs and roasting marshmallows. I also enjoyed problem solving it was very tricky most of the brownies liked the wobble board where we had to balance it for five seconds. I also liked fencing because we got to hold real fencing swords and wear real fencing helmets and jumpers. Something I really hated was abseiling I just went to the top stood there legs shaking for half an hour then decided not to do it. I hope we go back to pgl next year.
