The Sports Hub and Tennis Club have been reviewing their safeguarding provisions, which is a vital part of having the club accessible to children, young people and vulnerable adults. This issue will become even more important with the opening of the MUGA and increased membership.
The Hub, and its constituent clubs, acknowledge the duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults at risk. The club is committed to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice and requirements of relevant sports’ governing bodies.
If you have any concerns in relation to the safety of someone using the club you can speak to our Welfare Officer Mary Notman (marynotman10@gmail.com - 01350 728 964 or 07843 728380). You can also report a concern directly to the LTA at this link - https://safeguardingconcern.lta.org.uk/
