Guerilla Gardeners Wanted!
The Beatrix Potter Garden is somewhere that adults and children alike can enjoy - its plants, its pond and its history.
But with Councils everywhere no long able to maintain the same levels of ground maintenance, there’s a risk that it will become overgrown if we don’t take a
more active role in trying to keep it tidy. The hard work of laying it out has been done.
It’s more a question of a few people turning up 3 or 4 times a year just to keep tidy. If you’d be willing to spend a few hours every month or two, please get in touch. All it takes is 6 or 7 people (and we already have 3).
It’s an attractive, restful garden for visitors and local people alike. Let’s try and keep it that way.
Drop me an email on email@example.com... (my children’s choice, not mine) Dr Mike Silburn.
