Bible Society

Thank you so much for all your donations for the Bible Society. I have recently been able to send £56 collected in Sterling and by exchanging foreign notes and this went off to the society in June. Today I took a wonderful suitcase full of - stamps, post cards foreign coins, old watches, pieces of jewellery and some cameras. The people in the office were delighted to receive them all and with the help of a volunteer dealer and an auctioneer will convert it all into money to be used to print new bibles and bible scripts to those many in need of the Lord’s word.
I cannot thank our foreign visitors for their generosity but perhaps they will pick up a copy of the Bridge next time they are here.
Brenda Simpson.
