Scouting News - Dunkeld & Birnam Area
And we are off... the new term has started and in great Scouting style too. The second week into term and the Beavers were showing off their climbing skills on the climbing wall at PGL. Third week in and the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers showed of their orienteering skills around the Hermitage which has a great selection of courses that anyone of any age or ability can complete.
The scouts rang a small stand at the orchard day in early September which was great and something we would like to do more of. If your community group would benefit from the Scouts, Cubs or Beavers help then please feel free to contact me on the below details so we can organise something.
So what else is coming up for the young people in Scouting in Dunkeld and Birnam area? Well the Scouts are going camping at Comrie Croft soon which everyone is excited about especially as the camp is our first under canvas. The Beavers are working towards the outdoor challenge and the Cubs are learning basic scouting skills and team work as they prepare for the group camp in November.
As you can see lots going on in Scouting at the moment as we enjoy the last of the longer evenings and better weather.
If you would like to have the Scouts, Cubs, Beavers hep your community group or are interested in joining Scouting in the area please contact me on 07733371105 or at: firstname.lastname@example.org
