Bob Lindsay has retired as treasurer of the Parish Church after 26 years in the job. The Congregation marked the occasion by presenting Bob with 4 paintings at a reception in the Duchess Anne on Wednesday 16th September. His wife, Caroline was presented with a bouquet of flowers by John Cameron. The Minister, Fraser Penny, thanked Bob on behalf of the Congregation for the work he has put in over the years, over a time when regulations have increased and made the task much more complex. In replying, Bob remarked that in 1989 the Rev. Tom Dick had asked him to take on the job, just for a short time - until someone permanent could be found!
