Nature Nippers: Secretive Squirrels
Wednesday 6th September, 11am – 12 noon
Do you have a 2-5-year-old who loves being outside? Then join the Rangers to find signs that squirrels have been in the Hermitage woods. Our friendly puppet sidekick ‘Sandy the Squirrel’ will join our search for his friends and we will also make squirrel feeders and crafts to take home.
£4 per child. Meeting in the lower Hermitage car park. Children must be accompanied by an adult and wear wellies and warm, waterproof clothing. Book by phone or email: 07734366703 or email@example.com

This event is a perfect beginner’s guide to the fascinating world of fungi. The Rangers will show you a large variety of fungi to help you learn basic I.D. and folklore at the Hermitage. Suitable for adults and older children. Adults £5; Children £3. Meet at the Hermitage lower car park.
Nature Nippers: Autumn Art:
Wednesday 4th October 11am - 12 noon
For all creative tots aged 2-5 years old this is a great chance to get arty in the beautiful hermitage woods. We will be exploring autumn colours, finding ‘the stick man’ and making cool crafts to take home from natural materials we find on the forest floor. £4 per child. Meet at the Hermitage Lower Car Park.
