Teddy Bears Picnic & other news from Glendelvine Primary School
Glendelvine School has recently enjoyed visits from local gymnastic rugby and cricket coaches, local author Pauline Tait and Perth Gospel Church. On Red Nose Day we all dressed up and competed in a Scavenger Hunt raising a fantastic £108.63 for Comic Relief.
We're all looking forward to our trip to the Forth Road Bridge followed by Sports Day. The Baking Club is fully booked with lucky participants enjoying making tasty treats.
Our Eco Craft Club are busy making items in preparation for our Summer Fete.
Our Parent Council are running a Teddy Bears Picnic themed Summer Fete on Saturday 10th June from 10am to 2pm.
Everyone is invited to bring a picnic and join in the fun.
There will be an interesting selection of stalls including a bouncy castle bottle stall, eco-crafts, cake and candy, fruit kebabs, smoothies, bric-a- brac, Teddy Tombola, tattoos plus teas, coffees and ice cream. Other attractions include a fire engine and a vintage tractor. Funds raised will assist the purchase of a range of spelling development activities including computer software.
Following our Fete we are looking forward to Eco Week with activities and events for the whole school organised by our Eco Committee. We have a busy few weeks ahead before we relax during our summer holidays.
We look forward to welcoming our 2 new Primary One pupils in August.
