Flower Festival - Thank You
A huge ‘thank you’ is due to all the folk who worked so hard to create another successful Cathedral Flower Festival at the end of August. For those of us who struggle to make a bunch of flowers look nice in a vase it is a constant source of amazement to see the creations skilled people can make! This year the theme was Children’s TV and films. There were the old classics like Postman Pat and Peter Rabbit right up to newer ones like Frozen and, as always, it was a spectacular show. After expenses are deducted all the money raised will be going to Alzheimer’s Scotland and Rachel House, Kinross. Many thanks too, go to the musicians who played at different points through the festival.
