Dunkeld Cathedral Art Exhibition
We had a very successful exhibition over the summer months with many visitors, some first time to Dunkeld and others who come regularly and especially to visit the Exhibition.
Sales were high in the first weeks with a number of pictures selling direct from the webpage and overall we reached sales of £34,300 which is considerably up on last year. With 224 artists exhibiting almost one third of them were new names and over half the artists sold at least one piece of work with a number of them selling all their pictures. The Cathedral funds will benefit by a donation of £8,800 - £9000 and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped in any way to keep the exhibition running for 10 weeks, from setting up, taking in pictures, stewarding and taking down the exhibition at the end of the summer. Art work can still be seen on the webpage and it will remain there until preparations are in hand for next year.
