The Tale o the Wee Mowdie
Tippermuir Books announces the arrival of The Tale o the Wee Mowdie, a book we hope you will agree children and adults will love.
As you are no doubt aware there is a great deal of interest in Scotland (and beyond) in books translated into Scots. Several titles, including Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo and David Walliams’s The Billionaire Boy, have been rather successful as Scots translations.
The Tale o the Wee Mowdie is the latest children’s book to be offered in Scots.
Drawing on the success of the book in English, German, and other languages Tippermuir Books made the decision to provide a Scots translation of The Story of the Little Mole in co-partnership with its German publishers. We have produced a book with high production values at a very reasonable price (£6.99) and one we are confident will make not only a delightful gift but an educational one too.
Books can be ordered directly from Tippermuir Books (with free postage and packing), from Amazon, or other online booksellers.
The book will be available very soon from bookshops across Scotland - in the meantime copies can be ordered from us directly or from any bookshop.
