Councillor Laing has sent apologies to the community of Dunkeld and Birnam for being unable to update us with a councillors column this month. He is dealing with flood related issues stretching from Glen Lyon to Invergowrie, with many specific problems from all over the local authority including several around the Dunkeld area.
Unfortunately, this has involved many hours over the last two weeks on top of normal Council business and he is focusing on repairing the infrastructure and ensuring that resource planning to mitigate any future weather events is put in place and reviewed.

In response the community would like to thank Grant for all the work he puts in on behalf of the community and look forward to an update once the current crisis is over.
