Get Ready for a Cycling Summer
Wednesday Evening Rides Wednesday 26th April sees the first of eighteen ByCycle Wednesdays, weekly led evening rides organised by ByCycle, the Perth and Kinross Cycle campaign group that start from a different venue each week. The first ride of the series starts from Tiso’s carpark Inveralmond and will go round the Perth Circular cycle route. Following a tried and tested format, the rides are designed to take around an hour and a half to complete, all starting at 6.30pm. Rides are leisurely and companionable. The appointed tail rider will support those at the back, while those at the front can have a blether as the pack reassembles. A typical ride takes in a scenic mix of quiet country roads and tracks, so a hybrid bike in good mechanical order is recommended.
